Why choose us?

There are hundreds of web hosting companies,

website designers, ISPs, and consultants.

Anyone with a computer and a little know-how

is in the Internet business!

So, why are WE the choice

for your staffing company?

As a division of SkilMatch Staffing Systems,

we have been in the staffing business since 1951

and the staffing computer business since 1976.

We don't have to learn your industry

before we can help.

At the “technical” level (speeds, servers, disk space, etc.),

we provide services and features comparable

to most professional, business-oriented Internet Services.

Our staffing industry-specific services

set us apart from every other provider.

We specialize in only one industry -- your industry.

We utilize technology to help make your business operate

more efficiently and more profitably –

because we know your business!

A website designed by someone else who doesn’t really know

your business could easily double or triple the amount

you have to spend, and you could end up with less functionality.

(If that’s already happened to you, as it has to many

of our customers, we also re-design

and re-function previously created websites.)

How long will it take to create

your staffing industry website?

A quality website, one that represents your company professionally,

is not something that should be rushed.

The design and production process for a "Standard" staffing

website will take 6 to 8 weeks to complete,

depending on your availability.  Smaller, “Introductory” sites

can be completed earlier, larger sites will take longer.

What do we need from you

and what is the process?

After you accept our proposal to create and host a website,

a domain name is chosen, if necessary,

 (www.yourcompany.com) and registered.

Your first e-mail accounts are setup and an "under construction" page

is created and placed on-line in a matter of days.

Your company information is requested next, while your job

is queued for the production schedule.

To get some basic ideas for colors, styles and themes

for your new website, we’ll ask you for a "shoebox" full of everything

that has been released publicly from your company

in the last six months.  This includes ads, brochures, logos,

training documentation, article reprints about your company

or principals – anything that will help us learn more

about who you are, what your market is

and the services you provide.  We’d also like a brief statement

which reflects what you want to “achieve” through your website.

How do we collaborate together

for successful completion of the project?

The information is then arranged by a site designer

and displayed as a "map" that can be shared

between our staff and yours.  Changes are made to the map

reflecting areas to emphasize or de-emphasize.

This information is then given to our graphics department.

The designer that is chosen for your project will work closely

with someone in your company to design the look and feel

of the website.  Your company's counterpart to our designer

is usually a principal or manager with “marketing” focus.

Your "technical" person or MIS person or CFO should, usually,

not be selected for this task, since their view is, typically,

not from a marketing perspective.  This is a marketing

and advertising project.  And appointing someone

who needs approval on every point

can add months to a project's completion date.

As the website is constructed, a copy is placed on the Internet

in a private directory.  This allows everyone involved in the project

to view and use the site during the process.

Additionally, a programmer will work with you

to develop and implement the interactive aspects of the website.

Training on how to use your e-mail and work with your job listings

is provided throughout the process.

Any other products and services?

We offer complete design, production and hosting

of your company's website from start to finish - a turnkey solution.

Our services combine the talents of an Advertising Agency,

a Service Bureau, a Graphics Design Firm,

an Industry Consultant, Software Designers and Programmers

and Internet Hosting Providers.  One company, one call.

What are your choices?

Introductory website:

Our "Introductory" staffing industry website

is designed as an "entry level” business website.

The price includes required registration of “www.yourcompany.com”,

setup of your e-mail account system

and the production of an "on-line brochure".

The brochure includes company information, policies,

and other helpful information to job applicants, employees, customers

and prospects.  This five page website is a powerful marketing tool

and an excellent starting point for future larger, more interactive sites.

The Introductory website is designed for companies

that want to have their business represented on-line,

but are not sure of a final direction.

Standard website:

Our "Standard" staffing industry website includes everything

in the Introductory package plus additional on-line "pages",

interactive response forms, a searchable job listings system (JobLister)

and Internet résumé retrieval.  This website allows for a more in-depth

representation of your company's image, policies and background.

If you are ready to begin recruiting and job order acceptance on-line,

you should choose this level of service.

Most of our current customers utilize this Standard website.

Larger, "custom" websites for companies with nationwide

corporate identities or needs for customized applications

are available on a by-quote basis.

Smaller, “basic Internet presence” websites,

 that just get you “on-line”,

are also available on a by-quote basis.

If you already have an existing website,

can you still use our products and services?

These products can be utilized

whether or not we design and host your website:

JobLister allows you to post your open jobs to the Internet

in a searchable, sortable format.  Anyone on your staff

can post jobs to the website

with responses sent back to the originator.

PeopleLister helps companies advertise available personnel

on-line, publicly to your customers and prospects

 or privately for in-house purposes.

Net.Connect works directly with the SkilMatch! system

to upload your jobs automatically to your website

and commercial websites (like MonsterBoard and Dice).

The “JobLister”

You can have your open jobs

on-line in 15 minutes!

JobLister is a powerful, yet easy-to-use,

 Internet job-posting system

which can be leased as an add-on

to your website.

Every staffing company doing business on-line today

needs to have open jobs posted to the Internet.

JobLister will post open jobs to your website.

The job list can be searched, by your web guests, by keyword,

sorted by job-type, and displayed by location,

division, or branch.  Jobs are easily entered, deleted,

or edited via an on-line administration page.

Jobs can be added from any branch or office in the world.

All you need is an Internet connection

 and a standard browser.

A response form is generated when an applicant replies

to a job in JobLister.  The applicant can enter personal

 information and paste-in a résumé.

JobLister will automatically send this information

back to the originating branch, division,

 or customer service representative.

An audit copy can also be sent simultaneously

 to a manager or supervisor.

Do you subscribe to specialty job boards?

Do you post jobs to a computer jobs or other type-specific website?

JobLister can simultaneously post selected jobs

to other commercial Internet job sites.

JobLister is included in our “Standard” hosting package.

It is also available as a stand alone product

or for companies that have their site hosted

 with someone other than us.
